The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Smateria

In these unprecedented times, we wanted to reach out to let you know what Smateria is doing to support our team, our customers, and our community to get through the uncertainties we are all facing with the worldwide health scare in COVID-19 (Corona Virus).  

We understand that as all communities worldwide are transitioning to increased work from home arrangements, as events and travel are being curtailed, as schools are closing and as social distancing is needed, we must put in place extreme measures if we are to try and survive this wave of uncertainty.

To make sure the Smatera brand and business survives, we sadly had to put in place some drastic measures. We were forced to temporarily close almost all of our shops in Cambodia and our staff count has been reduced dramatically. We can’t wait to welcome all our staff back once this crisis is behind us!
